Live recordings from Bill Laurance’s performance with the WDR Big Band at the Philharmonie, Cologne, in late 2018, have been released, courtesy of Jazzline.

Conductor, bandleader and saxophonist Bob Mintzer arranged the material, which spans Laurance’s first three studio albums: Flint, Swift and Aftersun.

In addition to their performance in Cologne, Laurance and the band also performed at the Southbank Centre, as part of the 2018 EFG London Jazz Festival.
